As sailors, our obsession with sailing connects us to the water – the water is our playground, a sanctuary where we all seek enjoyment, a competitive playing field where we race as comrades; it’s sometimes our home; and always a place that unlocks our sense of adventure wherever that adventure might take us.

It’s this obsession that powers our constant need to push boundaries, innovate and reimagine sailing, supporting sailors from all over the world who seek the same enjoyment, performance and adventure as we do.

From dinghies, club racers and cruising yachts, through to Grand Prix Campaigns and Superyachts, we are your experts.

DOYLE SAILS: By sailors, for sailors.

CABLELESS SAILS

Our exclusive Cableless technology is a revolutionary sail making application that eliminates the use of torsion cables - increasing the range in upwind and downwind angles results in more luff projection and less weight. Initially designed as a concept to redefine and test the boundaries of traditional cabled code sails, Cable-less sails have now become one of the most sought after and recognisable applications in the industry - winning all over the world and leaving competitors struggling to catch up. A similar structured luff technology is now being applied to headsails and staysails.

DELTA CABLELESS SAILS

With the success seen across the board with STRATIS Cableless sails over the last few years in both the racing and cruising markets, it was important to Doyle Sails to offer the benefits of this same technology to sailors looking for a more cost-effective option to yachts under 50 feet.

DELTA Cableless Sails are available in Doyle Sails’ range of high-performance cruise laminate cloth options to suit your sailing requirements, before being paired with the 100% STRATIS Luff Band and fitted to your yacht. The custom panel layout helps emulate effects of what we see with a STRATIS Cableless Sails. The Luff Band attached to the leading edge houses the all-important load sharing technology to carry the load all the way from the tack to the head, dispersing this load back through the sail panels.

A perfect solution for Coastal Cruisers and Club Racers.

STRATIS CABLELESS SAILS

Known to the industry as the epitome of high performance, lightweight and reliable sail that continually develops, the STRATIS Cableless sail has quickly become one of the most sought-after sails on the market, delivering results with Cruiser/Racers right through to Superyachts.

CRUISING

From the beginning, Doyle Sails has been committed to ensuring that every single cruising sailor can cruise with confidence. Cruisers looking for sails that are reliable, durable and easy to use work with Doyle Sails, who consistently deliver impeccable results to those that take Doyle Sails on their journey.

Whether a lazy sail back to port or a fast passage to the next secluded bay, Doyle Sails upwind and downwind cruising sails will get you there with the speed and ease of handling which only their experience and expertise can deliver.

Extensive material options include premium Dacron’s, Cruise Laminate and Panelled options right through to membrane solutions.

STACK PACKS

StackPack is a mainsail handling system comprised of a fully battened mainsail with integral lazy jacks and a cover that opens automatically to accept the sail as it is lowered.

Cruising sailors are often faced with the dilemma of whether to sacrifice sail shape and quality for convenience. The StackPack is the solution for sailors wanting convenience without giving up performance or sail shape.

The StackPack also delivers a beautiful finished product that looks great on any boat. When the sail is up the cover is held tightly against the sail to maintain the sail’s aerodynamics. You will never again have to lower your sail and attach a sail cover, the StackPack is the most innovative, best performing and best-looking Mainsail handling system available.

RACING

Whether you are racing your yacht at a club level or Grand Prix, the same knowledge and attention to detail is applied to each and every sail.

Our expert sailors and sailmakers are committed to making your sailing more enjoyable – delivering quality, performance and innovative solutions each and every time, allowing you to race with confidence.

Whether you are looking for the latest performance from panelled construction sails or the most advanced membrane sails on the market, Doyle Sails will deliver what you need.

STRATIS RACE

100% CUSTOM MADE

The Stratis process starts with EVERY sail being structurally engineered with the appropriate fibre for the application of the sail. One of the big benefits of Stratis is its ability to laminate more fibre types then any of the other sailmakers. This ranges from our highest modulus Carbon through to our Polyester range for small cruising boats; there really is a fibre or fibre blend for every application.

The outside surface is chosen with the client, as Doyle has a huge selection of weights, colours and surfaces dependent on the type of sail and type of sailing the sail will be used for.

The key components when developing Stratis has been two-fold, firstly the quality of the lamination had to be unsurpassable. Doyle’s reputation has been built on its earliest catch phrase, “Better Engineered Sails” so Stratis needed to stand by that. Secondly, each sail is 100% designed and engineered for the customer's yacht and application. Every time the Stratis machine runs a path of fibres it’s entirely custom made to that sail.

We are continually developing our laminated sail products in terms of design, materials and manufacture. Our research department continues to experiment with new surfaces, fibres, adhesives and techniques with the aim of offering our clients the best possible product while our design department uses the latest computer technology and design tools to develop shapes and structures for faster and more innovative sails.
