Just because you’re stuck at home self-quarantining, that’s no reason you can’t still hone your skills or teach someone else you know about boathandling with the American Sailing Association’s online Sailing Challenge game.

Created in cooperation with Nolan Bushnell, a longtime sailor and the founder of Atari, the ASA game includes everything from “Harbor Tour” competitions in which you try to navigate an inshore course as efficiently as possible to straight-up tests of your sailing knowledge.

Multiple types of boats can be sailed, including beach cats and cruisers, in a variety of conditions. There’s even some marine wildlife to play with—pretty much everything you could ever want from a day “afloat,” and with no risk of sunburn. Why not give it a try as we all wait to get back out on the water again for real? Put in enough time at the virtual helm and you just might find yourself a better sailor when you do!
