Pity the poor Volvo Ocean Race sailor. While it may seem like forever since the fleet arrived in Cape Town after 24 days at sea, in fact it’s only been a couple of weeks. Worse, yet the forecast is calling for the sailors to get pasted by heavy weather on the nose within hours of the start. They are also sure to get their share of calms again, as in the Atlantic Doldrums.
