Tucket Footwear’s Giller Shoes

Navy-Sand-Dune_1080

Just for Kicks

Move over Crocs, there’s a new plastic shoe in town. Unlike the aforementioned fashion crimes, Tucket Footwear’s Giller shoes are made for boating. Water will get in, yes, but it will also run straight out again via rows of “scuppers” in the uppers and a dozen drain holes in the sole. With no soggy leather and its associated odor to deal with, these kicks are ideal for summer boating where you’re always hopping in and out of dinghies. The shoes also grip well on deck, are surprisingly comfortable and have a style all of their own, with a decent array of patterns and colors to choose from, including neon yellow and bright red, if you’re brave enough.

From $49. Tucket Footwear, tucketfootwear.com
