For those sailors who’ve long assumed that radar is for “bigger boats” or out of their price range, there’s the new T-760 series radar from Si-Tex Marine Electronics. Measuring just 5.4in wide by 8.9in high and 3.5in deep, the T-760 still incorporates a variety of advanced features, like 4kW output, multi-speed antenna rotation, 50-target AIS tracking capability, standard 10-target MARPA and a maximum range of 48 miles. Other handy features include relative motion, true motion, north-up, head-up and course-up presentation modes, and auto or manual sea/rain clutter modes. From $2,095.
