Created with an eye toward providing a kind freshwater nirvana offshore, Zen watermakers from Italy’s Schenker strive to take the complexity of installing these otherwise somewhat intimidating systems. Available with capacities of either 8 gph (gallons per hour) or 13 gph, each Zen watermaker is not only completely self-contained, but capable of being mounted horizontally, vertically or in pretty much any other attitude you can think of. The watermakers are also compact, with the smaller-capacity “30” model tipping the scales at just 22lb and measuring a little over 2ft long and 1ft high.
