PYI’s Max-Prop Easy combines the efficiency of a traditional Max-Prop with the ease of installation of a fixed propeller. Available in both three- and four-blade configurations, the Max-Prop Easy is shipped from the factory fully assembled and can be installed by simply sliding it onto the shaft, where it is secured with a single nut and lock screws. Like a traditional Max-Prop, the blades feather when a boat is under sail to reduce drag. Its swiveling blades also provide the same power in reverse as in forward, in stark contrast to a fixed prop, where thrust in reverse can be anemic at best. From $2,950. PYI Inc.
