Hunter 41DS

Since Hunter Marine is constantly devising new ways of increasing and maximizing interior volume, it seems only natural that the Hunter 41DS takes advantage of a deck-saloon layout to achieve a more open and airy accommodations plan. The DS has large elevated windows for panoramic views and a whopping 6-foot, 10-inch headroom in the saloon. The standard two-cabin version has a master stateroom aft with a queen-size innerspring mattress, cedar-lined hanging locker, built-in vanity, and private head with a shower stall. The galley is equipped with a stainless-steel refrigerator/freezer and a glass-front dishware cabinet. The deck-saloon approach may be a bit of a departure from what we’ve come to expect from Hunter, but the 41 DS’s ultra-spacious interior, combined with such signature features as a B&R rig, stainless-steel traveler arch, and spacious cockpit, shows that change can be good.
