Spinlock's New XTR Reactor Clutch

Spinlock’s new XTR Reactor Clutch is engineered specifically for today’s small-diameter lines, not only hanging onto them better, but releasing them under better control as well. According to Spinlock, the key to the XTR is the clutch’s “reactor module,” in which the rope-holding cam and base both move together within a self-contained unit so as to grip and release lines more smoothly and reliably. By better managing loads within the module—which is optimized for 10mm line—Spinlock has also been able to remove weight and material from the rest of the clutch, making it 35 percent lighter than its predecessors.
