Dufour, a leader of the French marine industry and one of the largest boat builders in the world is celebrating its 44th year of building fine sailing yachts. Two Dufour lines are now available, the Performance Range and the Grand’Large Range. To enhance their yachts’ performance, strength and finish, Dufour Yachts utilizes high-tech construction processes on all of today’s models. These are proven avant-garde techniques that not only provide added pleasure and safety for future Dufour owners, but also protect the environment.
From 1964 to 2010 Dufour has earned more than a fair share of accolades.
2003—Dufour forms a partnership with the celebrated Italian boat builder Cantiere del Pardo.2003—In France, the Dufour 40 is elected ELU Boat of the Year 2003.
2004—At Boot Dusseldorf, 11 leading European magazines elect the Dufour 34 as European Yacht of the Year.
2005—Dufour 40 “Quum” wins IMS World Championship in Alicante, Spain.
2006—Dufour 365 elected Boat of the Year, France.
2007 & 2008—Dufour 44 ICARO wins the prestigious Cope del Rey in Spain two years in a row.
2008—Dufour 34 class and overall winner at SPI-Ouest.

The hulls designed by Umberto Felci reconciles features from the latest regatta yachts: generous LWL, for a high maximum speed, fine water entries, taut lines, maximum beam continuing well towards the stern with the imperatives of sea-going cruising: high shape stability, good stiffness.
The broad, uncluttered side-decks make for easy, safe movement around the boats. The main winches and key adjustments are located close to the helmsman. On the 525 the luxurious stern sun platform conceals the tender and life-raft in a specially-designed locker.
The accommodation designed by Patrick Roséo is typified by the appropriate spaces: no compromise on the comfort of the bunks, the volume of the hanging lockers, ease of movement.
