Recognized for over 46 years as the leader in sailing education, Offshore Sailing School called on its experience of teaching over 115,000 adults to design the exciting COLGATE 26. Company founder Steve Colgate knows what sailors are looking for in a boat.

With the same attention to detail and quality as Offshore’s famous instructional programs, Steve joined naval architect Jim Taylor and Precision Boat Works to create a revolutionary boat that is fast, fun, safe, durable and virtually unsinkable—at a remarkably affordable price. Now available in your choice of Awlcraft® colors. Call today to learn more about this popular Family Sport Boat®.

By combining performance with safety and durability at exceptional value, the COLGATE 26 puts the fun back into sailing. A natural PHRF winner, the COLGATE 26 renders exceptional performance in both light and heavy air. The carefully balanced design of keel draft and ballast adds stability; durable fiberglass construction minimizes upkeep. The COLGATE 26 is virtually unsinkable, even if holed, and is completely self-bailing. Rigid cockpit railings provide security and comfort. A spacious cockpit provides room for the whole family and there’s storage below for daysailing and weekending. The COLGATE 26 was named Cruising World Magazine’s Boat of the Year in 1997 and is used for training by the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, Maine Maritime Academy, and the UK Sailing Academy. For three consecutive years (‘06-’08), the COLGATE 26 was selected for the Knickerbocker Cup professional match racing regatta. Test-sail the C26 at any of Offshore Sailing School’s teaching locations.
