At the 2011 Strictly Sail show on Chicago's Navy Pier, SAIL magazine celebrated its 40th anniversary with a special anniversary edition. We presented the unique double cover in front of our Pittman Innovation Station, which showcased the best in gear and innovation from the year.

In February of 2010, SAIL's Associate Editor Meredith Laitos traveled to the Abacos to earn her ASA 101, 103 and 104 certification through Fair Winds Sailing School. During the week, Capt. Dave Bello led the students through a series of on-water drills and classroom sessions to get them bareboat-ready.
