Event: The Leukemia Cup Regatta at Dana West Yacht Club in Dana Point, CA. This is the first summer date of this charity regatta. The event is hosted all over the country on different dates, so check the website for a venue near you.

Event: The Jimmy Fund Regatta at the Newport Shipyard in Newport, RI. Registration is now open for one of the most popular sailing and social events of the season. Over one hundred boats will enter, and many more will join in the festivities sponsored by Northern Trust. Racing will be held on June 3rd and 4th, and the "Party in the Paint Shed" will be held on the night of June 3rd.

Event: National Women’s Sailing Convention at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Marblehead, MA. Sign up for workshops covering everything from sail trim to racing, checking motor oil to first aid. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner with women sailors from the New England area.

Event: Hospice of the North Shore Annual Auction and Regatta at the Eastern Yacht Club in Marblehead, MA. All of this event's proceeds are donated to Hospice's care for the patients and families dealing with end-of-life illnesses.

Event: "A Celestial Navigation Celebration," at the Mystic Seaport in Mystic, CT. The Planetariun Director will give a free tour of previously undisplayed nagigational instruments, original logbooks, and almanacs. This is a great and rare oppurtunity for sailors intrigued by celestial nagigation.
