Classic 82

Barracuda Yacht Design drew the lines for this yacht, an evolution of its 70-footer, which was launched in 2003. On deck, the yacht’s classic style features stainless-steel hardware and varnished teak and mahogany woodwork. To keep an open look, the amount of space taken up by the deckhouse was minimized. One modern feature is the transom door, which opens to reveal a swim platform.

The interior will be finished by Dick Young Design in a stunning 1920s art deco style, although there will be some traces of the English Edwardian era. French cherry veneers will be used for much of the paneling in the interior spaces, and the floors will be oiled teak. A subtle off-white paint will provide a sense of openness below.
